Hey everyone! I hope you’re all keeping safe. I filmed this vid about a month ago just before the pandemic hit. I was going to save it until it’s all over, but I thought I’d just share it today on #InternationalChestDay watch it and save it for when you’re able to train at a gym again.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR FOCUS ON SAFE WORK OUTS: A LIFESAVER LITERALLY! I am today Age 82 I retired to a remote Philippines island beach with a very minimum Pension therefore minimum home made bench, cables, squat rack etc. Mistake was a calf raise platform for my toes of loose not secured together 2x4 boards! While holding a stretch at top it collapsed feet shot up high, my neck hit concrete floor, with barbell crushing my upper ribs. I have lost all muscle gains over years but now starting over with your Chest day focus on safe training! To regain muscle size.

New lifters pay attention to the warmup it’s very important. Not only does it get blood flowing to the muscles your about to work out flushing them with oxygen and nutrients it also lubricates the joints and stretches tendons and ligaments out. You will often hear experienced lifters talk about “Nagging injuries” which most stem from improper form and or no warming up! Don’t lift for other people in the gym lift for yourself!!!!
