Put nylon sliders on the bottom of the 2 x 4s, which will make them easier to move, and avoid snagging on the carpet.

I’m actually surprised 39 mi/gall? That’s sweet I’m getting 31.2 mi/gall with 3k miles on my crv now, driving on Econ hopefully I’ll reach that too keep it up 👍

I stopped doing econ. It thrives in traffic and slow acceleration scenarios. If you can do a longer drive it’ll help break the engine in better. I started at 31-33 as well. Im doing 39.6 right now for another tank. Hopefully stays that way 🤞. Weathers also been hot. So maybe that has some effect

Were getting around 34 combined so far with 6100 miles on the CRV ST. 32.5 on a 1600 mile trip, were a little disappointed on that but maybe it is still breaking in.

Pretty sweet but man sleeping in vehicles gets so hot. Ive done it in a truck bed and even with the little windows with screens its an oven. Keep the vids coming though. Love getting these new crv ideas from you.

Yea it can get toasty if you’re in a warm area. Best for winter time. Or just daytime use at the beach. Ive slept in it successfully one night so far. Haha

How frequently do you top up the air? I’ve been waiting for the gauge to show me low pressure warning but haven’t seen it over my 2k miles

Its pretty great at maintaining air. I never really needed to adjust it. Besides raising PSI. And then the one time i got a flat. The TPMS only lets you know if it gets dangerously low. Not anything minor. So good to check still.

There has to be a car wash mode in 2024 CR-V Hybrids for automated car washes. Had a nightmarish experience as the car went totally crazy, tried to brake, engaged parking brake & what not. Finally the car had to be turned off, was put in accessories mode and Neutral to finish the wash. Still the parking sensors kept on beeping like crazy. Am I missing something? What is the proper way to do this?

Never take a new car through an auto wash. Your paint is gone my friend. I haven’t heard of this issue though. Must be all the safety sensors

@UCversace Thanks for the suggestion. I think the car survived the ordeal and I checked thoroughly. Luckily the paint seems to be fine and I did a ceramic coating on it. Never taking it back to the auto wash. Thanks again for your reply.
