I would only use sealed boxes. Use liquid gasket or flex seal. Thanks for the question. I did not cover that in the video.

@kaikenjr 🔴 YES, I built a blowthru for my avalanche, and that midgate enclosure is in storage. I know alot of people like something more factory looking, that was made for the Escalade Ext or the Avalanche, but I honestly haven't been marketing the enclosure.

@kaikenjr 🔴 The box alone $125.00 just because I've had it in storage so damn long. The box with the subs inside $275.00. The subs are Infinity Kappa 1200. 500watt rms and are perfect 👌🏾 for this sealed enclosure. Its SQ, not SQL, it hits all bass tones from 25hz to 200hz❗️(Houston TX)

Curious... I made a midgate box for my 03... Just got a 2013 and gonna do something in it as well but nothing crazy like i got going on in my 03... I had Kicked around the idea of something like this using the midgate from my 03 because ill never use that one again and i don't want to ruin the nice one that my 2013 has.. I was checking the midgate out and it looked to me like its gonna rattle like crazy... How did this end up sounding?? Did you make a video of it all done?? I still think I'm just gonna make a shallow midgate box for my 2013 not gonna be running the power in it like i have in my 03
