How to Build a Covered Wooden Deer Feeder

In this video, we cover the construction of our wooden deer feeder, that we needed for our land. I ended up coating the whole thing in Thompson's water seal, for added protection.

Ok so if the roofing slats are 60 inches then the length of the frame has to be close to that right? I have no idea what I’m doing and without measurements I panic lol.

Wont hold much feed. Seems like a lot of work for a feeder that you will have to refill every 2 days. Why not just poor it on the ground? Or you could build the thing to hold more feed.

Terry Beasley I go out there every few days, and didn’t want it to hold more than 2 bags. It’s illegal to poor feed on the ground in Mississippi.

Pouring feed on the ground can cause it to mold if it gets wet. Deer can die from mold. You are what you eat, so, I know I wouldn't want to eat mold!!!

This is useless. First time it rains all your feed will be molded.
