How To Build a DIY Hanging Daybed Swing on a Floating Deck - EPIC BACKYARD CHILL SPOT!

We are building a DIY hanging daybed swing that is installed above a floating deck on this latest backyard transformation project! We are suspending the daybed swing from ropes that are attached to posts that go down into the deck below. We are also building a privacy wall on one side(covered in upcoming video) so that when you are hanging out on the daybed swing it is completely private. This hanging daybed swing is one of the coolest things we've ever built and it wasn't that hard. This could easily be done as an awesome DIY project!

Love the bed swing ideal, just have a suggestion, you could put a small turnbuckle on each rope so it can be easily adjusted. Over time the rope will stretch unevenly and can be adjusted without fooling with your fancy knot work. Love what you guys do!

Epic for sure, very innovative and nice job! The pocket hole joinery using a simple Kreg Jig is a awesome tip for the corners, I use the Kreg Jig as much as possible as its super strong joinery and hidden. Keep up the great work as the goal is to continue to inspire others to DIY and build something awesome!

The floating deck isn't anchored into the ground at all? Wouldn't it need to be? We've always anchored the floating decks we've done into the ground to give it that support for uplift etc. Even though we keep it flush with the ground or slightly above ground a couple inches to make it look like its actually floating.
