what's up guys in this video I take you through my first hypertrophy workout where I do back and traps and get a crazy pump! I started off by doing some barbell rows, then into lat pull downs, then barbell shrugs, and finished off with some wrist curls. @shittalksunday3644

not necessarily. Both are a vertical pull (the motion is up and down, not forward and back). It all depends on what you have and what you want to do. But you are not missing out on anything if all you have for a vertical pull is pullups.

Bro you know who Yujiro is (dude from baki) you look like him. For strong man which exercises would you recommend to focus on if you don't have strongman equipment like top 2 or 3. I'm wondering if there is anything specifically that would vary out the norm as opposed to the big 3 in powerliftering. I'm guessing OHP... I'm low-key interested in strongman because I have descent cardio and athleticism and love to compete. I just need to bulk up a little more I'm 230 but want to compete at 240. I think a 365 pause bench 240 strict ohp and 600 dead will be a solid strength base. I can run close to a sub 6:00 mile whenever I want so conditioning is on point. Keep grinding bro...👊💪

@@richardrussel4567 No. Traps are not a huge muscle, so they need intensity before weight. Most guys shrug up then drop the weight. I pull the weight up, then hold and squeeze at the top before lower the weight slowly. The best trap exercise is upright rows. Targets traps and rear delts. I just wish I could still do them but I have nerve damage in my right shoulder. I used to get compliments on my traps every day.

I would be careful about letting the barbell hang on your fingers during wrist curls. That puts a lot of pressure on the tendons of your fingers which is connected to your elbow. As a result, you may end up getting golfers elbow. (I got golfers elbow doing this in the past)

FROM is so overrated. I'm tall (6'4), and when I tried FROM all I got was extremely sore joints for my troubles. My joint burned out long before my muscle ever got any real work. Funny you should mention getting lean as ever since that was my goal after all the gyms closed.

You get sore(r) joints from doing full ROM? That seems odd, I’m 6’6” and in my experience full range of motion tends to be better because you don’t hammer one hyper specific tendon/joint movement repeatedly under heavy load.
@krane15
@krane15 4 жыл бұрын
@@arminiuschieftainofthecher2780 It doesn't take the wisdom of Solomon to know that the further away a weight is from the lever the more pressure it will place on the joints (and connective tissue). That's true for any mechanical device which is why longer poles will be thicker or not span as far without additional supports than a shorter one. It could be that you're a genetically gifted with significantly beefier joints than I have. But its more likely that you're simply using a much lighter weight. Since neither of us mentioned the weight during any particular exercise, there's no way to know for sure. Furthermore, I suspect that over time you will notice the increasing soreness more.
