I had such a good routine a few years ago until I gave birth. The newborn time hit me like a truck because I wasn’t sleeping much. I stopped with my routine then. I felt so out of it for a while until I slowly started building up my routine again and now I have it back and found a way to make it work with my 2 year old and working full time❤

Girl you should feel so proud of yourself! It can be tough to not have routine when you’re so used to it. But also having a child is huge lol, it’s okay to take the time you need to figure it out! Happy for you girl 🫶🏾

Every time I try get myself healthy either my baby or toddler will get sick 🤦🏽‍♀️ and then I feel guilty I swear the day shortens after having kids

Workout classes is how I built and made new social communities ! Now workouts are both my physical exercise and socializing time ! I highly recommend classes for those worried about not being able to find social time in a hectic schedule. Some ppl I’ve met in classes are some of my closest friends now

On the Netflix thing, instead of binging I create a viewing schedule, each night has a different show or movie. My current schedule is: Movie Monday Reality Tuesday International Wednesday Prestige Thursday (Emmy award winning show type shit) Free day Friday (whatever I’m feeling) Animated Saturday (cartoons and anime) Sitcom Sunday. This way I don’t binge shows and I have something to look forward to every night when everything I get done is done and I usually watch 1-3 episodes depending on the length

When I tell you, you’re sooooo awesome 🤩 new subscriber here! The other day I told myself I needed to set up a new routine noticed I work off a routine so much better especially because I have 3 autistic sons who have so much energy and do aba therapy after school, I’m a full time college student and new business owner I was using notion for daily/weekly planning it’s amazing but I rather use google calendar so everything can go to my phone! Anyways you literally just helped me come up with a consistent scheduling that I’m already doing just a little tweaks ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you so much

I enjoyed these gems thank you. I will say this.. I myself actually work better when I plan out times to clean 😅. If I don’t have those calendar reminders and time blocks to keep myself accountable then I will procrastinate. I don’t do it often but during busy seasons at work I will schedule our chores the night to a couple nights in advance.

I am literally TWO DAYS from 30 and am finally taking pouring into myself seriously!! A kid, husband and plenty meltdowns later I am ready and I have been BINGING your content and I am literally so thankful for how you broke down creating a routine instead of just say "why we need one". I feel confused watching alot of these videos because they dont give the exactly "hands on" way to do things, they are mainly just showing there journey (which is inspiring) but not really sharing how we can get to level 100 when were complete beginners at 0. You do that for me and never miss! Not to make this a race thing, but its amazing finally finding a beautiful, black woman sharing her journey and teaching us how to do it! I read your comments and loveeee the community of like minded people who feel the same way as I do. You not only inspire me, but you literally give me actionable, realistic steps I can take that makes me so excited to go on my self-growth journey!

Girl yes I have TWO functional leather rings planners in an A5 and A6-- one for business & academia and the other for basically running my life, time, expenses, etc. 😂😂 We doing things different in our 30s ❤❤❤

Question, are you not doing a monthly reset this time? Is that something you aren't going to be focus on when making videos. I find videos like this and the monthly resets helpful when building routines and healthy habits. Thanks for the honesty, advice, and suggestions. And it's a good time to talking about building a routine again. We're still in the season of Fall, a time for reflection of growth, expansion, and change. and about to enter the season of winter: rest and reflection before the slow awakening and working for better, brighter days. Drawing inward and being to plan for the spring.
