Interesting, I ended up going Strix (to reflect a full time Harpy eda who can fly and later assume a full "beast" form through ancestry) Cursed background And Rune Witch Class (Patron being the Titan who powers said runs) which are channeled through the Familiar (Palisman) since they lost their ability to cast magic innately by their curse (outside of abilities granted by the "demon" species their curse infused into them) And Boom Harpy Eda

Certainly another way to go. Just depends on what parts of the character you want to emphasize.

@@PsiPrimeProductions1 Indeed, rarely is there any 1 right answer , and recreating a character for ttrpg is often a compromise of finding the core elements you want to reflect or capture most within reason, we can't all have crazy over the top anime powers. xD

I´d choose beastkin as heritage, it covers the transformations and hybrid form issues without requiring the use of Werecreature Dedication. On the other hand I agree monk is the best choice.

Valid, though this version lets her turn into the hybrid OR owl beast form, which is why I chose it.

Tulok The Barbrarian built Eda in 5e D&D as a Reborn Owlin Artificer/Rogue. Even after the Owl Curse robs her of her magic, she can still brew potions... and Owlin have a flying speed as well as Stealth and claws. Still an interesting build ya got here... I'd invest those future levels in Alchemist... but don't quote me, I checked out of Pathfinder when I discovered 5e D&D.

Alchemy works different in pathfinder than DnD. Eda can just pick up the skill feat 'Alchemical crafting' and that would let her craft any alchemical items she has the recipe for. It would take her around a day to make a batch of 4, but it would just take being trained in a skill and one skill feat (which you get at every other level in Pathfinder 2)

@@PsiPrimeProductions1 Alchemist is an Artificer subclass in 5e... and Artificers are BUSTED. In a good way. My favorite subclasses are Battle Smith and Armorer.

That could work, though it's not necessarily the build I'd take. Luz is often shown to be our of her depth and not knowledgeable about the Boiling Isles. . . so esoteric lore doesn't hit home for me. My best thought was maybe alchemist, re-flavoring her alchemist items as her glyphs, not alchemy items. Another thought I had was kineticist, though that too doesn't get her all the things I'd like to see.

@@PsiPrimeProductions1 true, but she does spend a lot of her time leaning on her preconceptions about magic, and dealing with how dubious those preconceptions are. Also, she's canonically a huge fantasy nerd, so having a broad, if slightly inappropriate knowledge base does serve her well in the story, despite it often causing her more trouble than giving her a real edge. The main problem I'd have with Alchemy in this regard is that potions are a thing in the Burning Isles, but most of the useful glyphs she's learned during the series don't map well to what Alchemy in PF2E can do.

I haven't looked into it at all, but would adopted ancestry awalened owl do the thing as well?

It wouldn't get you the ability to fly, OR to transform, as adopted ancestry doesn't let you get the PHYSICAL traits of an ancestry (like wings). Also, the ability to fly from awakened animal is a heritage. Good thought though!
