Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I really like Action Mapping. It makes my work life easier even though it can be a challenge to explain why this is the right way for some projects.

You're most welcome! Yes, Action Mapping can be really useful, although as you said, it's not always easy for people to understand it's benefits. In case you haven't seen it, here's an interactive video that might help 👉 interactiveskillsacademy.thinkific.com/courses/action-mapping-interactive-video

Thank you for this! I love and use the Hero's Journey for years designing my K12 classes. Love you have you intertwined this with the excellent Action Mapping (which reminds me of Design Thinking).

Much appreciated, Fred! I’m so glad to hear that you’ve been using the Hero’s Journey in the classroom. I’ve also heard some educators say Action Mapping is similar to Backwards design. Cathy Moore has said she doesn’t think action mapping works in academic settings because the “goal” is to take a test. But I have a feeling there are creative ways to make it work. Thanks so much for all you do for our students!

Here's where I struggle. I've been trained on all of these instructional tools. However, I've yet to see one instructional video that uses the tool(s) while teaching said tool(s). I would very much like to see these tools in action. It would help me to employ them in my workplace.

Hi Jacob, thanks for your comment! Perhaps this Camtasia hotspots video might help - I go into a lot of detail and show how the tool works kzbin.info/www/bejne/iqC4loZofNd-b8k Also, if you're interested in Vyond Animation, I have a number of videos that show how to use that tool as well: kzbin.info/aero/PLqIZBuyE45BK8zZPMsI2ndrDl-mIZ47lS
