I want to say "very" purely because my worst relationship ever was with an avoidant partner with no interest in sex, and honestly I just felt so sexually repressed and awful. ... but I mean, I'm not exactly experienced so I don't know for sure; I just know that my relationships where both sides were actually interested felt a lot healthier, even if things never actually went that far for various reasons. So it's PROBABLY important?

I'm glad that there's finally educational videos that talk about avoiding porn..most places seem to say to watch it and that it's alright but it genuinely does affect your relationship and how satisfied you feel. If you get to see other people's bodies, it makes you feel less appreciative of your partner. Moreover it's degrading, and also affects your mind in general. My partner and I haven't watched porn in almost a year and our sex life improved when we stopped, the chemistry hit the roof and the sex is absolutely amazing.

Not to mention that it can decrease grey matter in the brain as well as shift your perception of the receiving person in porn so if it’s het or lesbian porn, it’s women and in gay porn it’s gay men. It’s best not to engage in it if possible

I'm always worrying that me not looking/ thinking about having sex with my partner as like a forefront thought, will lead to them being sick of me and cheat on me (happened before) or if i made them feel insecure about themselves. To begin with, relationships is all about communications so if they do truly cared for you, they would have respected you for you. Unfortunately, human needs is indeed also important so we might have to let go of some things for the better of our love ones, but just remember YOU'RE NOT AT FAULT NOR ARE YOU BROKEN OR WEIRD. Everyone is born different and this is just how you yourself function. I just tell ppl upfront about it now cus i find it easier to nib it at the bud first before shit spirals, but i can confirm you, there would be ppl that thinks they can "fix" you too. Like i swear, i had known someone in which i told them about my asxuality and their answer to me is "oh no worries, i'm sure after being with me you'll want to do it very often". =w= Just be safe darling and you do you.

@@akabaneaki thanks mate, that actually means a lot, more than you probably think. It’s really difficult for me when it comes to the whole being “fixed” thing. Mostly because a lot of the time I myself feel that way. Without too much detail, I had an SA experience very young, and most people I’ve talked to personally about asexuality has viewed it as a trauma response, except for a few of my friends. It’s nice to be reminded of everything you mentioned, and of course, your final sentence goes for you too.

For my partner and myself, we fit very well together as a couple. A lot of similar likes. Even if we’re doing our own thing, we’ll still sit together in same room and talk. Also, we both are cuddlers. Both love to cuddle. I can vouch that learning a lot of your partner does bring you both closer, especially when you’re both being vulnerable or just one is. What we’ve found helps is we have made our apartment a judgement free safe zone. Might look at the other sideways and ask questions, but there’s no shaming. I’m not saying this is exactly what people have to do, but this is what has worked for my partner and myself

I would be as kind as you can while being firm. Most of the time when this happens the person who caught feeling really did simply want to be friends then like a natural disaster their affection for you just happened to them. As for maintaining a good relationship, I think it's possible but unless they're very mature you'll probably have to be happy with a bit more distance between you both than before so that they don't get into the same situation again.
@LifeisaBeautifulting
@LifeisaBeautifulting Жыл бұрын
That's not really for you to decide. If you don't want something romantic, but the other person did and they're really hurt by the rejection, they don't have to remain friends with you. Even if that's what you want. This is coming from someone who had to let an 8 year friendship go bc he fell for me. It sucked, but l followed his wishes and stopped talking to him. Think about if it was you in their position, and you really love someone that told you that they couldn't love you back. It would be harder to move on if you continued talking to and spending time with the person

As long as the precondition is met where love is present, I have to add. And in a healthy balance where partners don't expect sex all the time (where the fact that the other partner isn't always willing to have sex) or where a partner doesn't want sex at all (making the other partner unsatisfied as a result, then resulting to porn addiction or cheating). Those extremes are where a relationship can be unhealthy. Though each case can be different, I have to say in the end it all depends on what both partners want (for themselves, and with each other's wants in their best of interests too. Both are equally important)

Sexual chemistry is as innate as what attracts us in general. It's either there or it isn't. You can't do anything to make it happen. It's entirely physical. It has everything to do with what attracts us as unique individuals. Sexual desire is largely psychological. That's what this is actually talking about.

Well done!👏👏👏 Don't waste your time to watch porn. Reading about TANTRA an ancient Indian practice will be probably much better for you. This practice brings together spirituality and sexuality and emphasizes the importance of intimacy during a sexual experience. However, tantra isn’t just about sexual pleasure. It’s more about celebrating your body and feeling heightened sensuality. The goal of tantric sex is to achieve spiritual or energetic contact during a sensual experience. This practice is slow and the aim is not always to achieve orgasm. Instead, it’s about feeling a connection either to your partner or to yourself that’s both intense and enlightened. It includes breathing, sounds, and movements to activate sexual energy.

At first it feels kind of scary but in a fun way. I'm a bit socially anxious normally and when that sets in I'll usually go somewhere else with most people, but if it's someone I'm starting a relationship with and we know we reciprocate each other's feelings then despite how anxious I may be, I can't get enough of them. At some point though, things have to normalize. I mean, you have to fart sooner or later, right? When you start to relax around each other it's not as exciting but it actually becomes very comforting. It's nice to have someone you can lean on, literally and figuratively. And to be able to casually slip an arm around them, or just kiss them for a brief moment if you feel like it. That other person had a point though, you should try to imagine the ways you might like to give and receive affection. Imagine those at the early stages where you're still nervous but you realize it's ok to do it, and it becomes a thrill to do those small gestures of affection. And try to imagine how you'll feel later when it's not something you even think about but it just happens. The other side is learning each other's boundaries. Im touchy-feely in relationships so even just standing in line at the store i like to put an arm around my girlfriend or just hold her hand or wrist (I'm in my 30s, holdings hands isn't strictly for teenagers) but some people don't like to do that in public. I once had a girlfriend who was sensitive about having someone's hands on her knees but I KEPT DOING IT WITHOUT THINKING ABOUT IT! I felt bad, it was irritating that I couldn't just stop myself. But one day I did catch myself doing it again and jerked my hand away and apologized and she just smiled and said "no, it's ok. It actually doesn't bother me when you do it anymore." And that was pretty nice. But yeah, you should write about the awkward stages of testing/learning each other's boundaries too. All real relationships involve that to some degree This isn't comprehensive but maybe it can give you a good start.

I would say that the effect porn has on your sexual relationships heavily depends on the type of content you consume. Most porn is largely performative and doesn't provide a realistic view on actual sex with real people or emotional and physical intimacy with a partner. However, if you instead watch amateur couple porn that focuses on actual intimacy rather than appearances, acting and so on, I don't think it would negatively impact your sexual relationships irl.

@Psych2go Welp, I'm still a virgin, but I learned that sexual chemistry is just as important as having good communication and connection with your partner in every aspect. There were sooo many times where this happened to me when it came to signals. Looking at this video 😮😗😋 may have given me flashbacks. I generally love P2G but I disagree with most of this. These are mostly good ways to feel comfortable and intimate with your partner but not to increase sexual excitement. Look at some Esther Perel videos about maintaining desire instead. Sexual desire is (counter intuitively) about creating space for the want to grow rather than more closeness.

Watching porn in a relationship is like constantly getting McDonald's when there's plenty of great and healthy food at home. You're so full there's no way you can enjoy the homecooked meals. (Unless your 'home' doesn't have much 'food' to begin with, that's a different story)

@@Levixne I agree that there are cases where 2 people may have different degrees of sex drives. A person obviously won't be like that 24/7. I didn't say I would pretend that way. @@Levixne Most importantly: "Most dudes go one round and the affection leaves thier soul." You clearly have no clue about most dudes (who are normal, btw). How would one go with trying to build this chemistry with a partner who is adverse to sex? I have a drive that might have anyone ask me to slow down. My girlfriend was abused as a child, remembers everything to a point that the mention of sex usually causes a mental break down. She once told me quite recently that even if we were double protected with the pill and rubber she would still not try do to pregnancy concerns. Every fiber of my being wanted to mention there's sexual acts that aren't intercourse, but I couldn't say anything about it. I was scared. Scared she'd break down, scared she'd think I'm a freak, scared she'd run away And we've known each other most our lives. 23 and friends since grade school.

@@Rher_the_Moon Your tip is kind, but reveals a mistake in my comment. We only talk though text these days. Not for lack of trying to do more. Money, weather, illness, work hours and more have only made it possible to date once within the last 2 months. I'm happy to say that said texts do have a hint of flirting inside them. Calling each other babe, love, dear ect. Heart and kissy emotes, laughing at what wasn't a joke.

The Mercedes-AMG F1 W11 EQ Performance is a Formula One racing car designed and constructed by the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team under the direction of James Allison, John Owen, Mike Elliott, Loïc Serra, Ashley Way, Emiliano Giangiulio, Jarrod Murphy and Eric Blandin to compete in the 2020 Formula One World Championship.[3][4][5][6] The car was driven by Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas, who remained with the team for an eighth and a fourth season, respectively.[7] 2020 Williams Racing driver and Mercedes protégé George Russell also drove for the team at the 2020 Sakhir Grand Prix after Hamilton was forced to miss that event having tested positive for SARS-2-coronavirus.[8] The car was planned to make its competitive debut at the 2020 Australian Grand Prix, but this was delayed when the race was cancelled and at least seven upcoming events on the calendar were postponed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.[9][10] The F1 W11 made its competitive debut at the 2020 Austrian Grand Prix. The delay to the start of the season allowed the team to address concerns they had about the car's reliability.[11]The W11 took thirteen wins (eleven for Hamilton and two for Bottas), fifteen pole positions (ten for Hamilton and five for Bottas), nine fastest laps (six for Hamilton, two for Bottas and one for Russell), twelve front-row lockouts and five 1-2 finishes across 17 races. With it, Mercedes secured a seventh consecutive Formula One World Constructor's Championship, breaking a record for consecutive championships previously held by Ferrari. Due to its setting numerous track records (the outright fastest lap ever) at various Formula One circuits, the W11 is considered to be one of the greatest race cars of all time.

hi, i have a question that regards a different topic than that video. I have seen the video where you talk about habits to maintain a relationship. I have a girlfriend and our relationship is great, we are in the last year of high school and we graduate in 3 months. We are together for 3 months now. The thing is, in country, as a man, you have to do 9 months community service or 6 months army. I am already registered in a job for community service in my home town. My girlfriend wants to study, which would take her over 70 kilometers away from our hometown. She would move into a small apartment near her university and only visit her home every other weekend, and thats not for sure. And in my community service i will work night shifts and weekends. We are very close to each other right now and we get to see each other every day at school and i go to her place almost once a week. I am kind of scared to think about a future with her because if she goes to study we will meet like once a month in person and i know we will miss each other a lot... do you have any advise what i should do or what do you think will bring the future? is there anything i can do?

if you want a life long partner then you can realize that each of you have separate things going on. it doesn't mean you 2 dont love each other. and thats ok as long as you find your way back to each other. i know things are intense because they are new, but the honeymoon phase will wear off. you can commit and be patient. you can be secure that you both will get your life together after the important things you have going on now have passed. set aside a time once a week where you both chat on the phone with no distractions. and dont get paranoid if they are late or don't show up. life will get in the way. just maintain quality communication even if its once a week or every other week. dont focus on her being far away, be proud of each others accomplishments.
