Thank you for this video. Our boerboel has just turned 3. He is a wonderful dog. I prefer big dogs because they seem a lot more stable and predictable. I have known big dogs all my life. Dobermans, Pyrenean Mountain dogs, Bloodhounds, Golden Retievers, Rotweilers, etc. With my past experience (as a child), the doberman and the rotweiler were a lot of work. Wow! I, personally prefer gun dogs. But, we live in South Africa, and my husband got us a boerboel. For obvious reasons. He is such a sweetie. But, we also have a Cocker Spaniel. She was an excellent companion to our Golden Retriever. And she brought up our boerboel beautifully. But he has become very jealous of her. He is aggressive towards her if he is anxious. He has hurt her very badly. How can we train his prey drive? Sorry for this question. I understand that I am not a worthy owner of this magnificent dog. Forgive me.
