It looks very cool. However, it's a minus right away, you need 2 hands to hang a towel. Usually I threw it on a hook or a crossbar and quietly left. :)

How do you recommend attaching them to a wall? Thanks in advance for your answer!
@mywiwood22 күн бұрын
Thank you for watching! I used double-sided tape for this, and I'll share the link to the specific model I used. It can be the best choice for bathrooms and kitchens. Another method is to use hidden screws that attach the piece to the wall without compromising its aesthetic. www.amazon.com/x15-4Ft-0-045in-Mounting-Adhesive-Waterproof/dp/B0D12BDLKS

@@mywiwood Thank you for the link! I think I will also do a little research into using hidden screws. Maybe a keyhole slot?

Yes, you can definitely use that method! .Although I used adhesive and haven't had any issues for several months.

The plans are the video you just watched. And a cutlist?!? Seriously? Each one had 3 pieces of wood. If you look at the ruler, you can see the dimensions. It's. Not. Complicated.

It's a nice idea but: 1 It looks weak because it has no jointing, just glue. 2 You made no allowance for concealed fixings. Presumably you just attached it from behind a board for the video? 3 Because a visitor to the house wouldn't know how it worked. They will probably rip it off the wall. I like it though. I think I'll make a version where i have several of them attached to a long board i can fix to the wall.

Thank you for saying your opinion completely. I tried to answer completely to help on the first point There are two ways, first, that you can connect all three sticks with one pin The second solution can be made by creating a groove next to the piece and connecting a piece of wood on the second point I glued this with glue on both sides The reason for this is that this project is used in the bathroom and kitchen I preferred to stick with adhesive on both sides If you want to use screws, you can use this product www.amazon.fr/DOJA-Barcelona-Fixation-Fixations-SCellement/dp/B0CSKNPDWN/ref=pd_lpo_sccl_2/257-3180394-9089135?pd_rd_w=q88LZ&content-id=amzn1.sym.4e3a5592-2463-4291-a0f2-dfe2f1ad87af&pf_rd_p=4e3a5592-2463-4291-a0f2-dfe2f1ad87af&pf_rd_r=4MA52KYP31HN8K2Q203N&pd_rd_wg=ovhW6&pd_rd_r=eb389c35-a08c-43fe-9f2e-02dd3782b088&pd_rd_i=B0CSKNPDWN&th=1 I hope it helps

@mitchd949 - you can't break those glue joints without a hammer/lever. If anything, they are far stronger than needed to hold towels.
@Underachiever_FilesАй бұрын
People just don't understand how wood and glue work... the bond it's down to the cellular level, remember, wood comes from trees (living beings) which have cells as basic units. Glue goes down to that level to bond the the pieces. Of course you may use waterproof glue for better results.
