The Rocksport Dual Rate kit was a perfect start for my JK Sport. I'm primarily using it as a daily commuter and weekend warrior for light trails, mud, and sand. The fact that I can upgrade to a game changer kit by simply adding more suspension components was ideal because I'm not going to have to undo what I've already done. As my confidence and skill improves, I'll be able to build the Jeep to keep up. It's also giving me lessons on what stock parts of my Jeep hold up, and which ones don't. I can't wait to keep going, but for now, it's doing everything I wanted it to do. My build currently sits with Yukon 4:88s and Method rims with Mickey Thompson 35s. With that as my base, I can go so many ways with MetalCloak. Excellent products!

If only you did a gladiator... just happen to be researching this very topic after a recent trip to Moab. Looking forward to learning more.

Best way to build is do it right the first time. Might as well buy what you really want, even if it's more expensive, because it will cost a lot more to do it multiple times in the long run.

Going through that some right now. Buy once, cry once. Just don't let it become "Buy once, cry forever."

Not everyone wants to go 40s and tons right away. Even guys with 40s and tons probably never thought they would get to that point. So you can’t just go straight to the top if you don’t know what your top is.
@wvjeepguy81783 ай бұрын
@@camaroboi13 I was told the first time to go straight to tons and didn't listen, so I had to learn my lesson the expensive way. Now I just go straight to tons on my builds.

@@wvjeepguy8178 I would never listen to that advice personally, and I would never replace my axles or have a use for 40” tires. To each their own.

I’m confused. This video shows installing diff covers and skid plates with no lift. The diff cover and skid plate product pages say they will not work at stock height…??

How much more clearance do our fenders give? 50 points! Nobody has a clue what 50 points means in English bud, you guys might want to elaborate on that for people who have never seen or heard of cti
@metalcloak3 ай бұрын
Well listen bud... lol... point taken, we understand your point. But just as many people don't understand "X number of inches of travel" - we do believe a CTI flex is a better overall visual representation of what that is and we get lots of positive response using that measurement.
@camaroboi133 ай бұрын
@@metalcloak there are two sides to the coin here. For one, the area in question is fender clearance, not travel. It would be beneficial to say “our fenders provide another 2 inches of clearance over the stock fenders when used in conjunction with our metalcloak lift.” That’s something the consumer can visually see. A future customer can go out to their car in the garage and think damn if I had another inch or two of clearance I wouldn’t be rubbing on my fenders all the time. Personally, CTI machines are like dynos for cars. There are 3 different people out there. People who don’t care about horsepower numbers, people who strive to make the most horsepower but it’s useless on the street, and people who actually tune for most efficient power. The Jeep world is one and the same. 90% of people don’t care about numbers, 7% want the most flex they can get and don’t care about anything else, and 3% who tune for the best of both worlds. The CTI numbers only apply to those 10% out there.
