Just to confirm FOB ( free on board ) means the supplier is liable until your product is moved over the ships rail or past the airplane hatch. CIF ( cost insurance and freight ) means the supplier is liable until 60 days after shipping or unloaded into your warehouse which ever is first

Aliexpress is a very good for this kind of small order. Just make sure you need to compare shipping price with different suppliers. Only when you can purchase over than $500, you can start to think about using Alibaba.

Hi. Thanks for the comment. It's a very wide question to answer, but just get my conclusion. For air shipping, you'd better to ship over than 100kg. For sea shipping, you'd better to ship over than 2CBM. Then you will get reasonable shipping cost.

Hi Jessica, some suppliers may quote very low price but they may hide other costs, such as shipping cost, tax, customs clearance, etc. So when you place an order to the supplier, you should ask what has been included in the price .

Hi, Louange. It's a good question. Samples are shipped by courier service like FedEX or DHL, which cost minimum $20 for shipping even a piece of paper to US. The price also depends or how much FedEX/DHL discount does your supplier have, which means the price could be even more expensive. Courier shipping for less than 20kg cargos is that expensive, and you only go good price when the shipping weight is over than 50kg. Articles with liquid, battery, powders are offically banned for air shipping. There are some special ways for some courier agent company to ship them. That's way shipping cost for those articles are expensive.

@@Jingsourcing I had the same problem; I was trying to buy app. 200$ worth of product but I was instantly discouraged when I saw the shipping fees was the double and sometimes the triple of the price I was paying for. I'm not very comfortable with paying 600$ shipping fees for 200$ worth of products that's just too much at this point I don't know how to bring products into my store anymore it really sucks; to top it all that is in USD and I live in Canada so it's even more money I'm paying
