At 33 I can't get my head around how easy this all sounds. I ever even though about owing 2nd properties but it's something I have to look into now. Credit due to anyone who does this and is living of it 👍

Mind Blown!! thanks so much for this!. How long do you need to wait between 95% mortgages as you need to live in them both right?

If I bought a house for BTL, would I struggle to get a BTL mortgage if I don't own my own home? Am selling my home & will be renting a room or doing camper van life for a wee while. Thanks.

Have you made a video discussing considerations of how to hold the properties ie personal, LLP / Ltd, SSAS etc and strengths/ limitations? Thank you.

One is now finished and valuation in a few days, other one will be a week or so ... we will wrap these 2 up with actual mortgages, final costs etc...

Alright then.... I have a house, with tenants, covers my mortgage and some. And yet I still need 25% deposit for a second house, please tell me how I can avoid this and make it work? Because these videos always sound so glamorous, however, I still am not able to get this even with speaking to several mortgage advisors.
@PaulSmithTouchstoneEducation3 жыл бұрын
Exactly as I showed how to do in this video.. there are numerous ways and mortgage advisors will be unable to help you ... in this case: buy well for cash, add value wisely for cash, mortgage at the end and recycle all your money. You learn how to do this and you will have a large portfolio very quickly. Good luck.

Key is to find below market deal like in the video. A buyer selling property with 40k discount already gets 40k equity into buyer's pocket.

@@PaulSmithTouchstoneEducation definitely! These things happen, and we learn from them. Love the channel and I’m learning so much getting more confident and less scared with each video. When I get going on my own prop journey I’m sure ill have some similar experiences! Keep up the brilliant work Paul! Maybe you can do a series on mistakes and bad experiences too? I think we learn so much from mistakes and adversity.

the general view, including yours , is BTL has become more problematic and less profitable than before...
