Does this cancel the entire series or just future invites? What if I don’t want to delete the historic series, just future ones?

Unfortunately Office Outlook does not provide any option to modify or delete particular future event only in recurring meeting event. You have to manually open the specific future event and edit/delete it. The other way to delete remaining future meetings in a series is to send a meeting update with a new end date. This prevents the deletion of any meeting agenda, notes, and attachments you or the attendees saved in past meetings on your calendar. Hope this helps - The iView Team.

How can i cancel and reschedule the same meeting? For example, if 25 people are expecting to have a meeting in 2 hours and if i need to reschedule it, i want to notify them that the meeting that was supposed to take place in 2 hours now will take place tomorrow. How can I let them know without sending an email to 25 people, I have seen people canceling the meeting in Outlook and changing the title and putting "Rescheduling" and then then sending out that cancelation to everyone but somehow they managed to reschedule it as well or maybe the vise versa? Changing the title "rescheduling" and just changing the dates, but then some ppl might not even pay attention to that and still expect to have a meeting in 2 hours. Thank you. Can I cancel a recurring invite in Outlook for only a date range? Say, I am the organizer of a daily recurring meeting and I go on leave for 2 weeks. I want to cancel all my recurring daily meetings for those 2 weeks. I do not wish to spam the mailboxes of all invitees by sending multiple cancellations for each day. Does Microsoft provide this facility? Can we raise this query to MS? Thanks,

I have a situation where my 3 day reoccurring meetings happened 6 month in the past. Yet I keep getting an email from one user every single day almost every hour that she is accepting the link, currently received a total of 72 emails within the past 4 days. I can not find an option that says delete series/occurrences. All I see is "cancel meeting", I do not want to send out a cancel meeting to over 100 people in my organization and look stupid just because there is a glitch on my outlook. Could it be because I am using Outlook on Apple ? or is the glitch happening on the User's end ? I just need help to stop all these emails from coming in from this user.

Hi, I cancelled the series months back on a weekly recurring meeting, but even today every week all the colleagues keep getting the cancelled appearance in their calender. Pls help How can I remove the same from everyone's calender, as I was the organizer of that series.

Hello, the best way to cancel a reoccurring meeting for your whole team is to send a meeting update. Here's more information on how to do this: support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/cancel-all-future-meetings-in-a-series-9eaeee8c-bfe3-46a0-a092-9a2707f3b133. Your team will then need to accept these changes in order for the meeting to be removed from their calendars.
