Video was ok, but just. You get lots of views of the person's arm and hand but it's difficult to see exactly what he's doing. It would be nice to have an overhead camera angle which would make the whole thing easier and clearer.

Agree. And it would be easier to recognize, what is happening, if he/she stops his/her motion for 2 seconds, when he/she points to or inserts the syringe in a hole!

does the ink get into the foil ink bag inside cartridge or just inside the plastic case of cartridge?

Truth be told that's why I end up doing in the end. I bought the cabin with the big refill cartridges, no messes, no good one and done. Do I have less features. Absolutely I'd have to price I got list features, but you know what I also don't have, headaches if having to deal with HPs nonsense. They don't specialize in printers they specialize in ink. Wise man once told me that the shaving companies with these multi-blade shavers and all this other nonsense still sell you the the shaver but what they really want you to do is that buy the recurring blades that's where they really make their money and it seems like HP, if you buy 10 ink cartridges you've literally paid for the entire point ever again that's insane isn't it And I'm talking to $300 printer cuz every HP cartridge is 30 bucks, do yourself a favor by the cannon with the big in cartridge that Shaquille O'Neal was advertising I can't even remember the name anymore, don't get old. But do you say it for favor and buy that thing cuz the ink the replacement you simply put it on the top the cartridge can't go in any other way and it fills the tub up one squeeze you're done no more BS. And unlike HP where it has a full tub of black ink it won't ask you to replace another color ink just to print and black. I want some marine so pissed off at the BS that HP does he literally shut the crap out of this printer with an M50 machine gun, funny as shit I ever saw but like anybody who's had to deal with HPs BS it was so satisfying... You have to download the new firmware that allows 3rd party cartridges. Search google for "HP Inkjet Printers - Dynamic Security Feature Affecting Cartridges Using Non-HP Security Chip"

After I refilled 950, 591 cartridges, I think the opening of the cartridges through which I injected ink has been made too big, ink bits is leaked and splashed everywhere inside the printer. Have you ever encountered similar problem?

hi i tried your tutorial step by step but when i place my colored cartridges in the printer, i get the message saying that they are still empty. im using an officejet pro 8600. i tried turning the printer on and off. i didn't reset any valve because i didn't have any leakage issue. is there another step im missing? please let me know. thank you.

Max Mustermann Max you are my effing hero...the link showed exactly what to to do turn off that blasted chip recognition. over I did that VIOLA... no longer rejecting the refilled cartridge. God bless you, you hand NO IDEA how important the documents I needed to print tonight were...like a means to keep someone from going to jail...FOKK YOU HP, when this one craps out I'm getting any brand that doesn't force me through conniptions too print with black ink because the cyan is empty...great purity bit your management are demonic...douche bags. Amigo tenho uma hp pro 8620 aqui, depois que instalei o bluk nos cartuchos original parou de reconhecer o cartucho azul, então fiz o fun-reset e agora aparece uma mensagem de erro sobre o cartucho azul e o carrinho ficou travado e agora não aparece a seta de voltar pra eu dar outro reset vc sabe o que posso fazer pra melhorar a impressora?

The printers don't store the ink level in the cartridge chips, but internally to the printer. It remembers 2 sets of cartridges so you need 3 sets of cartridges minimum to refill your own. Once the printer sees another two of each cartridge, it forgets about the oldest one and assumes your oldest one is a full cartridge. Just use them, fill them and rotate them in usage. I wondered the same as you and had to search around a bit. It's really not that obvious. :)

You don't, HP recomends that you buy 4 new printers and rotate the old cartridges in those printers to trick the firmwares chip security feature.

first, instal with setup cartridge (there is a label name in the cartridge). hp printer sucks. they want you to install an original cartridge only.
