In this episode of Zero To Hero, we learn how to edge/carve on a wakeboard as well as crossing the wake with ease.
There are three really useful tips for crossing over the wake:
1. Get low
1. Keep edging
3. Look where you want to go
As you know, the goal of this series is to improve your wakeboarding from having been a complete beginner, all the way to doing some flips and spins.
I hope that this episode helps you progress your riding and learn more tricks.
Have fun and stay safe.
Dave

Hey David. Great idea for a series. I can only get to the lake for 2x15mins session every 2 weeks, and am only just getting wake to wake on heelside. In your Zero to Hero series how about an episode on what you can do to help your wakeboarding on dry land, not everyone has access to a boat/lake/cash...Stuff you do in the gym to build up the right muscles, using a handle in exercises etc etc....

That’s brilliant to hear! Congrats! So for your hands, could be the handle you’re using, but also if you’re squeezing it too hard. You don’t need too much grip. For your trailing hip. Try and push your hips up to the handle. This will help your posture and should mean it’s easier on the hips - time and experience will also help. Also, when I ride a lot my hands get sore too, even with good handles. You end up building calluses!
