That was good. Now I know how to properly tack it down so it doesn't show. It is these tiny little tips and tricks that make such a difference that you can't get from a book or diagram.

Love your work. This is the type of stitching I do - I’ve never had any formal training, in fact I was thrown out of needlework at school for being so useless (and naughty!]. I had no art training. It wasn’t until I was in my early 40s that I started to explore creativity and now I work mainly with textiles. I’ve made it my mission not to do anything in straight lines! I am so glad I stumbled on your channel. Now I’ll have to go backwards and forwards to make sure I see everything. xx

I've only done these couronne type loops on my ring sticks - as tree foliage on a needlelace landscape the first time. Your bullions way is fascinating and can probably be done more easily with the thicker threads. Thanks.

I love this stitch. thank you for sharing. Would you mind showing me how to twist the cast on? I am casting on, but the stitches are turning on my needle.
@ArianeZurcher2128 ай бұрын
I thought I explained this in the video. It’s how you alternate the stitch from one side to the other. I’m traveling at the moment but be sure you watch the entire video so as to see where I explain how to avoid that.
