This is a basic vault when vaulting from your hips without use of your feet. It is also a foundational move for the cast away.

Thanks for the tutorial, I not sure how to explain but let's say there is a wall you're on or something. You want to drop smoothly, and you put one of your feet kind of forward and come down I'm not sure if I'm explaining it right but it's not the landing but just a way you jump down. It would be nice if you could do a tutorial on that, thanks.

Do you have any extra tips for doing it on walls or is it the same technique?
@ronniestreetstunts
@ronniestreetstunts 8 жыл бұрын
It's basically the same technique, only more difficult because you have more distance to clear with a wall and a bar tends to be easier to hold onto and control the movement.

How do you exactly pop your hips?
@ronniestreetstunts
@ronniestreetstunts 8 жыл бұрын
It's basically the motion of your body going from hollow body to arch with the hips being the focal point. So while your hips are not physically pushing themselves, that's the point of contact that ends up being what pushes your body away because of the other motions happening. I hope that makes sense, I didn't explain that at all in the video.

You are not alone, I am in the same place you are now. I can do a frontflip, sideflip, and almost a backflip on trampoline but I can't do it on the ground because of the fear. I have no where else to practice that's real safe besides the trampoline, so I'm starting to feel stuck in the same place and not fetting anywhere. All I can say is don't give up just because you can't do something right now, things always get better and often aren't near as bad as they may at first seem. Also just know that if you truly want something, or to accomplish something, whatever it might be, you will get there, you'll get it someday and that's all that matters.
@h3freerunning835
@h3freerunning835 8 жыл бұрын
Put your mattress on the ground, some pillows on top, preferably outside. watch tons of tutorials, get hyped, and go for it. The fails have 2 be worth it in your mind for the trick. Try to minimise the fails, and don't give up! Good luck! If the pain of the fails is not worth it, don't do it. Focus on the trick, not on the fails! YOU GOT IT :)
