Fishing with Marki Mark

Күн бұрын

In this episode, I do a bit of land based rock fishing in Botany Bay to catch some Bonito for dinner. These are a great light tackle sport fish which visit Sydney rock ledges towards the end of summer and stay for a couple of months until the East Australian Current retracts. The conditions stabilised and it became a cracka of a day with a hot bite occurring at first light. We also got a little Yellowtail Kingfish surprise on light gear towards the end so be sure to watch the whole video. Hope you all enjoy the video!

@FishingwithMarkiMark
@FishingwithMarkiMark 3 жыл бұрын
Hey man, for instance bait fishing off wharfs and piers for kings, i run fluro as its more dense - making it sink faster especially when going unweighted prawn. Also more transparent in the water and has more resistance around pylons. I go two rod lengths then 7-8 wraps around my spool. As when i go off a Pier the leader is all the way up to my fishing level. This helps on light gear to lift up fish.

Firstly, Please don’t assume anything as you were not there. The crows and seagulls devoured the scraps in seconds as soon as I moved. Also just because I don’t film anything extra doesn’t mean it didn’t occur, so don’t assume. I was there cleaning up other people’s rubbish and left 20 mins after the video ended. I make it a ritual to clean up what I see and keep an additional bag In my backpack. I always throw my scraps in the water. Thank you for your highly considered comment!!
