Andrea I am so jealous , switzerland looks absolutly stunning this time of year , I am of Polish decent and we also celebrate christmas eve with a huge 12 course meal , with fish courses , and soups and at the end we break a traditional christmas wafer and exchange good wishings for our family and friends

As a Pole I confirm ;). It’s traditionally twelve dishes (including desserts). Although they’re mostly light - either vegan or fish. No alcohol at Xmas Eve - smoked plums compote is a traditional drink.

Und sie ist sehr nett und sie mir Hilft mit mein Deutsch. Gestern, sie zu mir gesagt „In Schweizerdeutsch, wir nicht ß benutzen. Wir ss benutzen“ 😊😊 Words like Großvater -> Grossvater Urgroßvater-> Urgrossvater Urgroßmutter -> Urgrossmutter Alle in Schweizerdeutsch. 😊😊 ich alles von mir selbst geschrieben😊😊😊

😄 Greetings from Down Under! Christmas in summer has a different vibe. No fondue chinoise, but seafood (prawns most often), turkey or glazed ham. And for dessert a very Australian pavlova although our kiwis neighbours dispute the origin of the dish. Thank you for your channel, I enjoy it greatly 😊
