I have a hard time removing my oil filter for some reason any suggestions on how to remove it if it's really stuck

Hi Jonathan, Firstly make sure that the tabs that are designed to ensure the filter housing doesn't come loose are out of the way. The filter removal tool should assist here as well. Secondly, the filter housing may have been over tightened - if this is the case then a bit of brut strength might assist. Be careful though because if your filer removal tool is a bit weak it might not be able to take the pressure. Regards Geoff

I have a very important question! I did my oil change and there were metal/aluminum flakes I'm the drain pan. What are some possible causes? 2009 corolla

Hi, metal flakes in the oil pan could be a sign of bearing failure. Any metal flakes in your oil is not a good sign. If you have a big end bearing going you will hear a change a rattle or knock in your engine. I would get a professional to listen to the engine to check for any abnormal noises. Regards, Geoff

Hi, where did you get the O ring? And the special tool to take the oil filter off?

Just kidding. I forgot to check the box that my new filter came in. It's in there. Great video!!

Great that you found it. I was going to say mine came in the box. I got the tool off eBay. Just make sure its the one for a Corolla not a Land Cruiser. Regards Geoff
