I just did this and instead of removing lower control arm ball joint, I removed the single bolt holding control arm to body of car closest to front bumper. Much easier to remove than ball joint in my option.

Very good concise etc.Prefer some Oratory explanation alongside it, Only criticism it’s quite quick and what happens if you encounter problems like seized bolts on the ball joint etc and the spring has to seat correctly or be misaligned could spent bit more time showing that but still Good so Appreciated etc🥴

Can you tell me what’s wrong, I’ve got a xc90 2016, one of the front where the Allen and Nut go on, I can move it around with force and it makes a popping noise because it’s pushed up against the edge. Is it broken or what?

Yes, currently doing it on my 09’ V70. The lower control arm BALL JOINT is a PITA to get out

The xC70 has longer springs so it is necessary to remove the lower control arm to separate the ball joint.
