See tools, tips, time, parts, and of course step-by-step how to change the engine oil and the engine oil filter in your ktm four stroke dirt bike. In this video see every step of the procedure I use to change the engine oil in my Ktm 530 as it is described in the owners manual. I'm sure there will be some carry over for other ktm 4 strokes like the sx-f 250's and sx-f 450s, so please comment below if changing the engine oil in your ktm is the same or not.

0:30 Warm Up Bike on Level Surface, Grab Drain Bucket, Remove Skid Plate
0:47 Locate Correct Engine Oil Drain Plug/Screen (left one for my bike) and Remove to Drain Engine Oil
1:31 Re-install Clean Drain Plug (Torque Specs 20nm or 14.8 Ft. Lbs.)
1:55 Locate and Remove Oil Filter Cover (Two Torx 30 Star Bolts or 8mm)
2:17 Remove Oil Filter with Needle Nose Pliers
2:43 Lay Bike Down Onto Passenger Side
3:16 Fill Cavity 1/3rd Way, Fill New Filter W Oil, and Reinstall
3:44 Re-Install Oil Filter Cover (Torque Specs 10nm Or 7.4 Ft. Lbs.)
4:21 Add Remaining 550ml of Oil to Get Total Capacity right at 600Ml
5:01 Spray Oil Filter and Drain Plug Areas W/ Degreaser Hose off the Mess
5:15 Start Bike Briefly, Check For Leaks, Kill it, Check Oil Level Still Cold
