you know the lever you pull up to raise the needle? Mine doesn't stay up, when i pull it up and let go it just comes back down. Any suggestions on how to fix this or know why it is doing this?

something wrong with mine.. your needle is perfectly centered with the q foot hole. mine is slightly more to the left, as if it's going to hit the edge of the foot. i've had needles break and i think it's because of this. how can i adjust the machine to have the needle not so far to the left and more centered instead? i've been tempted to grind away at the edge of the foot's hole to give the needle space to breath. i know you can adjust the position in sewing mode, but can't seem to do so in embroidery mode. also the q foot seems a bit wobbly. it's screwed in nice and tight and the base doesn't move, but the springy part does move slightly.. if i push at the Q foot with my finger, i can make the needle seem like it's centered, but there's no guarantee it'll stay in that position.

I have the brother lb6800 and I cannot get the embroidery foot to stay on once I lower the presser foot. I have it screwed on securely, but the right side comes loose once I try to sew. Any ideas?

my machine makes a clack sound when embroidering, i think its the Q foot, any suggestions?

Hello :) I would double check that the foot is properly attach. 1. Make sure that the foot bar (Foot Q) is making proper contact with the presser bar in the machine. 2. Tighten the presser foot holder screw. 3. Make sure the screws in the metal plate on the machine are tight. Sometimes after I do the same task many times, I overlock certain details and the little hiccups happen. Let me know how it goes, I would like know :)
