So.... a torque wrench is to ensure the CORRECT tightening of a fastener. If your torque wrench clicks before the fastener even moves, you've OVER TIGHTENED the fastener.

It doesn't matter if it's torqued to spec or cross threaded... Tight is tight

@@adrianmack3 clearly you've got a dry sense of humour 👍 Anyway a torque wrench is to apply a specific amount of torque to a fastner, they should have just nipped it up with the rattle gun and finished it off with the torque wrench rather than sending it to god and then clicking the wrench which in this case is clearly over torqued

looks like mine are going on mk7 golf r only done 35k miles, can they go that quick and should you do both sides on the same axle

It is not possible to answer your question unequivocally; we recommend that you consult with your mechanic. It is recommended to replace both sides at the same time.

How long does this take with proper tools? Just had all four struts, bearings and mounts replaced and now 2 weeks later I'm getting creaking sounds like the driver side strut bearing.. They said to bring it back..

Axle bolt needs to be torqued to 200 nm + 180 degrees. Otherwise u can loose a wheel.

It is important to tighten all fasteners with a torque wrench and with the torque moment that is prescribed for your car since car configurations may differ, and accordingly, tightening moments may also differ. Thank you for your attention.

Please don't use wire brush everywhere! More damage than good! WD 40, brake cleaner or whatssoever is more than enough. Othervise good.

What a load of nonsense,puts everything on nut and bolt with a impact gun then goes and torques the bolts/nuts what a chop stick,if they click of there overtorqued wouldn’t trust yous to fill my screen washer bottle up,and why spray everything with copper grease spray! So it looks good? That grease sat on top of bolt heads is achieving nothing
