How to change Front suspension wishbone on Freelander & Other Cars.

Did this job a few years ago. Although having very little use the protective paint on those arms is already looking worse for wear. Wish I had protected them with some stone guard or some such thing. I used the threaded ‘spigot’ type part that you cut off with your grinder (I did the same) it now acts as a ‘grounding’ point on my fabrication table.. Anyhoo it’s good to see you still have a Freelander ..

Thanks for comments. Yep still loving the Freelanders, this video was work on the recent v6 restoration project one. Fairly near to MOT’ing it, but some shocking previous paint repairs to tidy up first.

Thanks. Try to be. MOTs are a pain when they are very fussy. Just got advisory on shock absorber mist - stain from when I WD40’d some nuts!

Hi, would the Evoque alloy control arms fit the FL2?

No idea but I doubt it as they are quite different.

To be fair I'd be so tempted to just buy a new Bush bracket if I did this job instead of trying to remove the arm from the old one 😂 more money but surely alot easier
