How to change jeans from button fly to zipper!

You rock ! Thanks for taking the time to do this, great quality and camera angles. I bought a pair of camo pants for fishing at Goodwill .. almost brand new for $4. Then got home and realized they were button fly. Bought a zipper, watched your video, got the wife's machine out, and sewed it in. All while watching MNF ! Easy peasy, thanks again !

I just bought a pair of shorts, their description online said it was a zipper fly but it’s actually a button fly 🥲 I was gonna return but they are really cute and they fit amazing. Only problem is there are SO many buttons. I’m gonna try to follow this video tomorrow to see if I can change it, thanks!

You think it’s possible to cut the extra flap with the hole spaces that hold the button and mend them together with the zipper? Ordered some pants and I’m stuck with returning or keeping cause the fit is so nice.

It's done, but it not done well. 100 bill just stupid. What are you trying to prove? The zipper ends will fray since you didn't bother to use pinking shears when you trimmed it. This will cause the zipper to fail after so many washings.
