Why not just clean the original oil screen instead of buying a filter? That’s the recommendation from the factory. Good job on the video! Everyone except one video so far has done the same, tossed the screen and installed a filter, just wondering if it’s being missed in the owners manual, states to clean the oil filter. I bet people think it’s a typo. Anyway you did make a good video!

So the bike has two "filters". There's a screen that you clean out near the drain plug and also a filter element that can be replaced. I definitely cleaned some of them instead of replacing them if they're not too dirty. At some point it's just easier to replace it though especially when there are a bunch of little particles stuck in them

@@danondemand no.. the original oil filter is brass mesh. Not the drain plug screen…

Thank you 🙏🏻 You are a great person for the good benefits you provide. My question is, is it possible to explain in a video how to fix the bike problem? The front tire is straight, but the handlebar is not straight. There is a deviation to the left due to the BMW 750 GS bike falling. Thank you

Hi, sorry about your bike falling.... If the fall wasn't too hard your handlebars are probably just bent. They're not too hard to replace and not very expensive (aftermarket). If it was a hard crash it could also be your forks which would probably be a much more expensive repair. It might be best to take it to a mechanic or a friend who knows bikes.... Good luck.

Why is the original filter different than the replacement? The replacement is just pleated paper, the original is just a brass mesh??? 😊

I've seen a variety of replacement ones. Not sure that it makes much of a difference on these bikes as long as it fits and is clean
