Important note! I have the jts 2.2 and the oil filter socket was 32mm Not 36mm. That was 15 dollars for that socket right down the drain. And... 15mm for the oil drain nut. Check first!

there is so much wrong with this video, as usual at autodoc manuals. by the way, it is a JTS in this video, like yours, so they need a 32 and 15mm, as you mentioned. - not using engine cleaner fluid for 10min, cleaning engine from old dirt - not advicing new bolt with new rubber seal - not cleaning oil filter case from old oil, which is a rest of always - not running engine to let oil filter work properly and then control amount of oil again

Hello, how often would you advise having the engine oil changed for the 159 1.9jtdm? The manual says every 30 000km/24months which sounds like an extreme interval. Am I OK with changing it every 10 000km ?

Minor point but recommended oil is 5W-40 not 5W-30. Probably not going to do a lot of harm, but why not use the grade Alfa recommend? Alfa's recommended change interval is ridiculously long (30 000km, 35000km for later cars). Every 12 months makes sense to me! I do like these videos though, good stuff!!!
