Great comment on over filling the primary and not being able to find neutral. Not sure if it can happen on Evos, finding neutral can also occur if the engine seal or transmission seal are leaking fluid into the primary (this happened on my '07 FLTR and was my engine seal). A "many years experienced mechanic" recommended that I remove the derby cover with the bike upright. If oil pours out, oil is leaking in from either the engine or transmission. In the "old days" he used different colored fluids to help diagnosis. In "recent times" if the fluids are the same color, most likely the oil is coming from whichever (engine or transmission) is consistently low on fluid. Thank you for your channel!

Hey Jason, thanks for all the great videos! Is there a torque spec for the primary drain plug in your manual? I have not been able to find a torque spec in my 93/94 FXR service manual. Thanks

There is not, I go a little pass flushed with some Teflon on the threads.. You may have to play with how much if it leaks after. Hopefully that help sir!

Nice video Jay, how many times around do you wrap the Teflon tape around the drain plug? I do 2-3 times and it's 50/50 if it leaks or stays dry.

There is not, the drain plug doesn't butt against anything so I make it go a little past the tapered part on the out primary cover.

The stuff I get comes from Hard Drive and just states "Primary Oil" the service manual states the same. I'm sure there is a weight but suppliers just list it as that "Primary Oil".
