Excellent and thorough video, I'l be doing this in the near future. Investing in captive wheel spacers is another convenience purchase that will save you all the frustration from those OEM spacers falling out 50 times during one wheel change.

Yes indeed! I now have captive spacers. I messed up one race weekend when I swapped to my spare rear wheel. I forgot I never installed a captive spacer on it, and missed a practice session because of it.

I thought I was the only one who would use a caliper to measure out my axle distance. Thanks for the info!

It's so practical! Thanks for watching

you are thorough.. I don't torque anything, I just do it until it feels tight enough.. and you use calipers to measure, I just eyeball it.. lol... good vid though..

😂😂😂😂 to be honest, I don't torque my axel nut anymore. I feel like I've done it enough to just get a feel for it lol

On my last bike, the slack adjusters didn't agree with my wheel alignment tool; I trusted the alignment tool more. Getting both slack and alignment in spec was a challenge sometimes.

Good point, getting them to agree can be a nightmare.

I’m 16 and doing this on my first bike today… wish me luck! It’s just me and my mate sorting it so hopefully we don’t end up blowing my 50cc up 😢

Old school trick for changes between sessions and time is short. Find out the biggest steel rods that will slide thru you axle and swing arm pivot. Allows you to throw a tape measure on and adjust with the quickness my friend.

Interesting, thanks for the tip! When's your first TD this year?

@@Master_Yoshi I Haven't booked any yet because I decided to revamp my 2012 instead of buying a new bike and I kinda went full retard once I started.

Sone guys showed up on my doorstep named Brembo Graves and Aim which constitutes full Retard 🤔
Are your still running -1 + 2 gearing on your 600rr? Do you like it for track Also any future plans to cut out cat and replace with mid pipe or do full system exhaust
@Master_Yoshi Жыл бұрын
I run that gearing for most of the tracks I go to, but I just changed it back to stock for Road Atlanta which has a very long straight and I wanted more top end. I do like the -1 +2 though! It does make the bike feel much quicker, and you'll notice the shorter gearing because you'll need to shift sooner. Yes sir, plans to go full exhaust, power commander, quick shifter, upgraded fork pistons and springs, master galespeed front brake master cylinder and an ohlins ttx gp rear shock. I also want a motion pro throttle, to reduce the turn distance to full throttle.

@@Master_Yoshi thanks bro! About to order sprockets now, I’d like to do those other mods too , looking forward to the day you make a video installing power commander exhaust and quick shifter. I want a quick shifter so bad
