I have been charged £65 for this at halfords whilst I can buy tools for the job and I can do it myself for litteraly a 1/3 of the cost. Oh and I get to keep the tools for future. :) Thanks Autodoc for providing us these tutorials! Much appreciated.

You should not apply copper/ anti seize grease to current/modern spark plugs as they have an anti seize coating called trivalent plating. By applying grease you can cause the plugs to be over torqued and therefore damage plugs or worse - strip threads

By far the best comment. I will only add that a torque wrench is an absolute necessity. Also, when using greases you usually over-torque. Like EPAD states manufacturers like NGK and Bosch strongly advise against using any grease on the threads. It will also immediately void any warranty. It's an old habit to grease spark plugs. Nowadays a bad habit.
