Note: Be sure to carefully pull the filter straight up, and re-insert it straight down. There is a standpipe up the middle of the filter, and if you break it off, you are in for a big expense if you realize you broke it, and an even bigger expense (new or rebuilt engine) if you start it up and drive it and didn't know your broke it off.

Ok..did a google search and found TSB 19-NA-066 about the risk of the insert being damaged or missing. The new insert has improved locking tabs. new P/N 12696079.

Im having trouble finding where to buy a new filter cover with O ring ,do you have any idea where i can get 1 i have a 2018 colorado Z714x4 with a 6 cyl. ,im in maryland

Mobel oil doesn't say dexos which recommend by GM. Does it really matter?

Yea it does say it 0w20 and 5w30.

Thanks, my family had the stomach bug and I was trying not to get my friend sick. I know it was outside but our wives became supper worried about germs when we both had toddlers at the time and it was the only way I was allowed to work on his car.
