Former Culligan tech, there are a couple things he forgot to mention, first is flushing out the post carbon filter. You’ll get small bits of loose carbon particulates until the post carbon filter is fully wet. I used to hook the filter up to the storage tank and blast it through until the water ran clear again, then hook it up to the system. The other thing I would do is empty the storage tank out completely to get all the existing water out that may not be as pure, so it starts filling with that freshly filtered water. Cheers

Well I just attempted to change out the filters the first one I pulled off did not look anything like the replacement filters. Could it be that they have been changed over time or they just gave me the wrong ones? There was no numeration on the replacement filters to correspond to the 1, 2, 3 positions in the unit. Why aren’t the replacement filters numbered to correspond to position.?

I've had the AC15 for 13 years, I'm surprised this video is only 2 years old :) Very useful though. I never knew I was supposed to take it off the wall. I'm changing the secondary filter. Usually I just call in a service person. Thanks for the video.

carbon post filter (polish) will not come off. don't know what Culligan did on install but - have tried everything for over an hour on this part! OMG! Will have to call plumber for help- ugh! But thanks for the video, did get the other filters changed, but not easy. Everything was so tight but got back on. Local Culligan charges a fortune to come out and do this, when you live an hour outside of the city.

We have the ac30 system and went to change the filter that looks like it has white rope on it. The one we pulled out was kinda yellow and orange and it didn't have white rope on it. It also only had one rubber washer instead of two. Is it possible the one with rope on it can look like this if you water too long to replace it? I think we went 3 years before replacing it.
@isingsculliganwater2 жыл бұрын
The “white rope” is the sediment filter and the other is a carbon filter. The one with the “rope” will most of the time look like that when over-due because it is the sediment filter.

I changed filters and now have a big leak between the manifold and Filter Housing. I replaced the O-rings with Silicon 1-3-4" ID x 2-1/8 od. I can't find the correct size anywhere I looked. Were these correct and if so what would be the fix? Thank You
@isingsculliganwater2 жыл бұрын
Hi Dale, Culligan does not use silicone for their O-rings, and you will not be able to find the correct O-rings at a hardware store as they correlate with a direct Culligan part number, and are made specifically for these systems. You would need to get the part directly from your local Culligan dealer. Hope that helps!
