Fantastic video mate, will be referencing for sure. Looks like my 93 is one tooth off at the cam gear. Thanks heaps!

Great vid! Just to double check something: You get the new timing belt on and release the tensioner. Then turn the engine two rotations, at the crank. And when you're done, assuming all looks well, you re-tighten the tensioner, in place -- right?

Hey mate, been a few years since I've done this so I'd have to watch my own video again to remember. Unable to watch it ATM but I can check back later.

@@TheBrowneTown I figured it out. Thanks though. Yes, you want to rotate it a couple times, then tighten it.

Awesome how to mate! It's criminal that no one has commented yet! I'll be having a go at this myself in another 10,000km so will have this video loaded to reference against! Cheers

Do you know what tooth count the belt was? Trying to figure it out for my kit Edit: I called a misubishi dealer and its part number md191982 and the tooth count is 116 for anyone wondering

I don't know the number of teeth, I think the part number is TK288, which is specific to Gates. I believe most automotive shops' online websites will be able to filter to what suits your car and what doesn't.
