One quick thing about this tutorial is that images need to be in .JPG format in order for the vehicle to read it. I just did it with .PNG images and it didn't show.

What are the file size requirements? I know .jpg is one. What about image size?

Eventually I want to delete all the photos when i sell my car, does deleting all the photos keep the stock photo?

Yes. It will default back to the stock Toyota screen if you delete all the others

Reformatted to FAT32 double checked folder names it reads the drive asks to overwrite the pictures and then doesn't transfer anything idk what to do...

Is it possible that something might be wrong with your jpeg images that you are trying to upload? Are they your own images, or ones bought from my store?

Thanks! It’s a QuadLock phone mount with a Ram Mount arm to hold it. I hard mounted it to the dash.

@@lindamarquette7351, I drilled a hole and bolted it through the hole with a large fender washer on the back to distribute the load to the plastic. Just popped out the climate control panel and went in from the side to get my bolt and washer pushed through. I used the “RAM tough track with T-bolt” and just swapped out the T bolt with my own normal bolt from the hardware store. Hope that helps!

I used small jpg files, formatted to FAT32, the images still won’t load. I get a message about USB not being able to connect?

@@WhoCaresNope sometimes the USB itself is the problem, occasionally I will have someone who can’t get it to work after formatting, and a new USB solves the problem. I also try and make sure my images I sell are less than 200kb

As long as that unit supports a jpeg for a wallpaper or background it should work. I have had lots of people use them on aftermarket stereos

How do you change how long startup screen stays is what I ment to say, mine only shows for 1 second.

You can’t unfortunately, that’s set by Toyota. My Tundra stays on for almost 3 seconds though, so maybe they are all different…

I’m sorry to hear that! I’m not sure why they did that either. I can give you a refund if you’d like. I tried to put in the item info that it wouldn’t work in 2020 and newer, but Etsy doesn’t make it easy to see/find. Kind of frustrating
