Love your content man! Very clean edits. Just swapped my CV axle and put all new struts and shocks on my Highlander. Had a knocking after but looks like I didn't tighten the sway bars enough and now is good!

How many quarts do you need to fill the 2011 highlander V6?

5:40 in the video👍

Scotty Kilmer did a video years ago about car manufactures going on about saying the Transmission fluid is for the life of the car and doesn't need to be changed. HE was like yea buy a new car, get into a bad accident as you leave the lot, look the fluid lasted the life of the car. .:)

No, it ran the exact same.👍

Thanks thats great job , otherwise I was watching some people complicated videos that put wire in obd 2 and something about temperature and empty two times so those videos were not simple , the way you change transmission fluid is the best one and if company say don't change transmission fluid its mean the company filter could be of good quality so we will not change the transmission fluid filter and will just change the fluid every 30k to 50k., buying 5 quarters and of Toyota brand, thanks.

So if you don't pull the CV axel and lose 2 quarts the total you would need is only 2 quarts?
@rutterrealtygc3 ай бұрын
No. It will be the same as what I filled it up with (between 4-5 quarts)

Hi , when I refuel the highlander 2011 the fuel economy reset itself and shows 30L / 100km and after running car for 80 km it come to normal as 14L/100km or 13l/ 100 km but when the car need refuel this changes again and shows 30L/km again for another 80 km , how to fix this issue , thanks.

Not sure what you are saying exactly… not sure how to fix that one.🤷♂️

Question: replaced the CV axle on the driver side of my 09AWD and it looked like way more than 4 quarts came pouring out of it. I assumed that everything drained out so I added 4 qts of new ATF and now it makes a weird buzzing noise and sometimes struggles shifting up or down from 3rd gear and the traction control light came on.
@rutterrealtygc2 ай бұрын
You cannot assume how much fluid is in the transmission or how much came out. You also can’t add fluid to a transmission or an engine, without knowing you have the right amount in it. Putting too little in it can ruin it, and putting too much in it can ruin it. That is why they have dip sticks to gauge what amount is currently in. Make sure you follow the manufacturers recommendations for checking the fluid level to make sure that it is correct. If you are overwhelmed, or don’t know what you are doing, I highly recommend taking it to a professional to make sure it is done properly. If you did not do a transmission drain after pulling the CV axle out, and you still added 4 quarts of transmission fluid, you probably overfilled it.

@ That’s literally what I was thinking after watching your video. Such a rookie mistake haha I’m actually a Diesel Mechanic and have been working off and on cars and engines the last 13 years and yet I made such a rookie mistake. I’m gunna do a proper change out tomorrow and make sure everything’s done right haha. Thank you so much for your response though I really appreciate it.

Great video I appreciate it!!! Quick question: what year is this Highlander? Would you recommend this vehicle for a teenager? Thank you !!
@rutterrealtygc7 ай бұрын
2011. That is a random question…😂 I guess it depends on what you want for your child. Safety is what I would want and I’m pretty sure it had good safety ratings or else I wouldn’t have bought it. It is very fast though. 🤷♂️ I’d give it to my kids.😁

I don’t believe there is a dipstick to check the level in the 2023-2024 models. From my understanding, it is not the same.
