How to Change Transmission Fluid (Toyota Highlander)

If you want to know how to change Toyota transmission fluid in your Toyota Highlander, this should give you an idea of what to expect for years 2011-2013. If you're looking to change transmission fluid in another vehicle, it should be a fairly similar process, but make sure to look in your owner's manual for your vehicle specific instructions! Love your content man! Very clean edits. Just swapped my CV axle and put all new struts and shocks on my Highlander. Had a knocking after but looks like I didn't tighten the sway bars enough and now is good!

Scotty Kilmer did a video years ago about car manufactures going on about saying the Transmission fluid is for the life of the car and doesn't need to be changed. HE was like yea buy a new car, get into a bad accident as you leave the lot, look the fluid lasted the life of the car. .:)

I don’t believe there is a dipstick to check the level in the 2023-2024 models. From my understanding, it is not the same.

2011. That is a random question…😂 I guess it depends on what you want for your child. Safety is what I would want and I’m pretty sure it had good safety ratings or else I wouldn’t have bought it. It is very fast though. 🤷‍♂️ I’d give it to my kids.😁

Good question. I’ve always heard people only recommend using the manufacturer’s fluids for transmissions. 🤷‍♂️
