Need a bleeder tool -- my wife thanks you -- she's the one that squeezes the brake lever 10,000 times for me... :) Excellent tutorial! Thx.

One thing I do before is just spray some water around the area of the resiovour and it will neutralise any spillage or seepage from the cloths

Thanks for the walkthrough! Good content for someone that hasn't done this before. I just thought of a tip for you as well. (For the bleeder Tool) If you remove the black 3 way coupling from the hose and only put the one you want to use back on the bottle part, then you don't have to deal with the other hose hanging around. Please tell me if you tried it. Peace ✌️

Thanks heaps. I have a 2009 gtr1400 and definitely need to change my brake fluid.

Thanks for thr great demonstration... I'm thinking about getting an extractor to use on my GL1800. Being curious, how are you able to vacuum / draw the brake fluid between the MC and the caliper? Wouldn't the MC be closed not allowing the fluid to be drawn? Also, what psi are you using? Thanks again! 👍

Another good video. However I did not see you bleed the master cylinder.

Sorry for late reply... With this device, it sucks the whole system dry. I've open the bleeder on the master after bleeding from the caliper and it was bone dry. So, I guess its the suction power in the tool. So whether changing or emptying the brake fluid (like for new brakes lines) this tool seems to work every time and leave nothing behind.

Good videos! Also i have a question, how do you flush ABS unit? I have read you need to connect to a computer and open ABS valves, that will be a nice tutorial thanks you very much! ✌✌✌
@Wrenchie3 жыл бұрын
Depends on the bike. I know my friend' Triumph is that way. He somehow got the software and we were able to open the valve(?) to fully bleed. On the Z1000, not required.

@@Wrenchie I own z1000sx 2019 with ABS you think I need to open valves to flush? Thanks you very much! ✌✌✌

@@SKoNNeR I'm not sure. Never worked on a 2019. If its the same as the 2016, then no. I wonder if the advance traction control system (like on the 10XR would have a different setup.

Hi, could you write me what is the capacity of front brake system and how much fluid did you fill the reseivour?
@Wrenchie3 жыл бұрын
No idea what capcity your bike needs. The service manual will provide that information either in ML or in CM from the top of the tube
