Great how to video! I haven't replaced my heim joint bearing in years. This video is a good refresher. Another tip I use is to put the bearing in the freezer for a bit before installation. It eases installation.

+Rick Ogas Thanks mate. Yeah, good call on the bearing in the freezer trick, really helps out hey!

Great Video JoeJoe. Well explained without being too lengthy. I understand you became aware of the shagged out joint from a knocking sound in your recent vids?
@JoeJoeMoto10 жыл бұрын
Thanks! No, that was my mate on his Berg that had the knocking and he just replaced his too. Mine was squeaking, so that's how I found out mine was gone.

Nice vid,made me check mine and they where worse then yours! I brought the same bearing kit £30 and fitted them,so cheers for the vid! Btw if you use a 24m socket it fits perfect and tight so u don't need to hold it! So u wont hit ur own hand lol,i also had to heat it up as it wouldn't move to start with,cheers Dan

Hi Dan. Great info there mate with the 24mm socket, thank you. I am glad that this video helped you out. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Good to see you are wearing your Japanese safety boots ;) do you use the trials tyre all year round ?
@JoeJoeMoto6 жыл бұрын
hahahah always! Safety first. Yeah, I had that tyre for about a year and a half and LOVED it.

King Carl Thanks! Nah, this job was pretty easy actually, but yes, in reality it took about half an hour or so to do it from start to finish.

Hi there, great vid very helpfull but in my all balls kit there are 2 rubber seals which I did not see you install... Do they go in straight after the bearing? Also which way around? As they are Groved on 1 side and flat on the other? Thanks.
@JoeJoeMoto9 жыл бұрын
+Lee Johnson Not too sure mate. Could you send me a picture of it on my FB page? I might be able to help then.

Thanks for sharing,I almost pulled my swing arm cause I thought the bearings were shot but it turned out to be just the shock bearing,I made a nice puller with a piece of threaded rod.
@JoeJoeMoto7 жыл бұрын
No problems mate. I am glad that it helped you out. I like the puller idea!
@Cowboy47377 жыл бұрын
JoeJoe Moto, Yeah super simple,Big socket on one side,Small socket on the other & a ratchet wrench makes fast work of pressing them out.

Nicely done. Not a fan of all balls though, had bad experience with their products in the past.
@JoeJoeMoto10 жыл бұрын
Thanks. That's no good about the All Balls, I have used a few of their products and haven't had a problem. They are definitely not the same quality as OEM stuff though.
@Mmdoggy110 жыл бұрын
Yeah OEM is often the way to go, only downside is that they are so darn pricey. All balls are probably great as well, i was just the unlucky one i guess haha.
