My Vespa gts hpe just came back from dealer where they mentioned that they bled the coolant. Assuming that they replaced the fluid I have been riding it for five days before I decided to check. It was below the min level. Is my bike gonna be okay?

I have a Vespa GTS 200L it runs good and I keep an eye on the fluids every so often because I ride it quite a bit but winter is coming fast so I won't be riding much longer and I'm having problems with the battery keeping charge and it's not even 3 years old and it's a duralast battery so I'm trying to diagnose what can be draining the battery it has a new relay and starter there not that old so I'm trying to find out what can be draing the battery thanks.

Hi Jason, See if you can get the battery tested. we've replaced 2-3 year old batteries all the time with bad cells. Thanks for watching.

You turn the key on with the mode button pushed (and hold for 2 seconds) and it will switch.

I purchased a used 2014 GTS and the coolant is pretty low. I'm not sure what coolant (factory or otherwise) is in there presently, but I do have a new 1/2 gallon of Maxima Coolanol ready to use 50/50. Can I just top off with the Maxima Coolanol, or is it harmful to mix coolants? Thanks for any feedback.

Hey Zach, eveything I hear suggests that it is a bad idea to mix coolant. Given the age of your scooter and if you don't know the maintenance history, it might not be a bad idea to drain existing coolant, flush with distilled water and then replace with new coolant.

@@chadparrish926 That's what I figured too -- except, it turns out the phillips screws on the water pump cover are stripped out. One of them even has an impossible angle to try and maneuver. Can't even angle a dremel to notch a deep slot. Kinda stuck at the moment. Thanks for your response, appreciate it.
