No, this video is stupid. At 2:18 hes saying that there is grand total of 420 different cellphones like none of those are included in both Dexcom and Libre support lists. At 2:50 hes mentioning Moore's law, but there are research papers showing that Moore´s law is already dead. Thank at 8:20 hes talking about smartwatch standalone collection of data but this is actually possible for years with xdrip for wearOS on any samsung watches and he didnt mention it AT ALL. Hes pathetic. Also you have much more pumps available on the market than Omnipod and tslim, like MUCH MUCH MORE PUMPS. Like at 11:30 hes saying its just not perfect yet becouse of no support for omnipod, like omnipod and tslim are the only pumps in the world :D this guy is just extremely closeminded or i dont know :D Also, most people dont wear Dexcom and Libre sensor at the same time :D, so they hardly need their phone to play with both dexcom and libre sensors at the same time :D This is just stupid

Thank you, Eric. Either the iOS17 update on phones or the OS10 update in watches was the culprit. Unfortunately, there is no timeline on when the first software patches will roll out to fix the issue. Until then, get you magnifying glasses ready because it might take a few months.

@@typ3me Yeah, I guess you're right. I saw a video on here where someone used the Modular face and was able to make Dexcom the middle complication, which was nice and big, but when I try and do that, Dexcom is not listed as an option for the middle complication. Very frustrating. Android is so much better in this arena!

Unfortunately the s23 is not compatible with the Omnipod 5. It’s an amazing device but not high on compatibility.

Hi, I love your tech talks. I've just started Omnipod 5 (& Dexcom for several years, G6 currently). Wanting to use a watch - new territory for me. We use google fi & I currently have non-compatible Google 5a phone & was looking into Samsung S23 to be able to integrate w Omnipod 5. Surprised you didn't mention it. How is the S23 with wearables and using O-5/ G6?

Thank you, Lori. The s23 unfortunately didn't hit the top list because it was not compatible with at least 6 of the 7 categories. However, it is a good option, and the video has links in the description to help you find compatibility links to any device you wish to use.

Loop system. Look at the loop system it's so much better than the Omnipod 5. It's not even close.

I have a Samsung s22+. I have purchased and returned several galaxy watches to try and see my blood sugar readings from my Dexcon g6. Never could get anything to work! NOTHING SHOULD BE THAT HARD!

I just switched to apple. The watch cgm is super to set up but it is unrealistically hard to see on the Home Screen.

They’re sending out replacement pdm’s to everyone. Apparently you have to go through hell week again to set up the new one. My initial few pods… I was in BAAAD shape until it calibrated. I’m not gonna use the new pdm. I’m gonna wait til the iPhone app comes out before I start ALL OVER.

Although it has been FDA approved it has both yet been released in the US as of today 4/3/2024. Hopefully we see the update roll out very soon.
