You might want to disregard his recommendation of Chain Wax as the lubricant for the "Oilite" bushing in your clutch and go with a 30 weight non detergent oil or any specialized bushing lubricants.(light machine oil, etc.) Remember the rule of thumb, normally bearings require grease and bushings require oil.

It's interesting that you mentioned that 1" clutch for 18hp engines. Your website says it's "rated for up to 7hp".

True, the factory will have it only rated up to 7HP. But we have seen Stage 1 Predator 420 Engines on Coleman Minibikes that use this 1" Bore 1041 Heavy Duty Clutch. The lighter the rig, the longer your clutch will be useful. I definitely would not recommend this set up on a Live Axle Go-Kart.

I always lube up the inside of the clutch, it supposed to help the clutch live longer

Currently I have a Hilliard heavy duty for predator 212 stage 2 on racing kart. #35, 12/60-5:1. I think it’s time to upgrade

I have just built a gokart with my cousin. All is good except the clutch. Its not engaging 😢 its a 13t 1" bore, 420cc 15hp. When the engine revs it doesn't engage. All we hear is the clutch rubbing off the metal. Any suggestions would be great. I have video if needed

i have Honda gx 270cc with a wet clutch from the factory is this a good setup my local go kart track in Santa Clarita California MB2 has honda gx 160/200 with a wet clutch

Centrifugal clutch will be easier to use and still hold up, but that 40 series torque converter is a great upgrade if you can fit it.

I just got the Trail master storm 200 from go power sports. It's been a head ache !! My clutch bolt wasn't placed in right and something broke within the first 45 mins of using the mini bike . !

My clutch I got from you guys does not have a key . It came with a small bag with 3 little pieces and two screws but I cant figure out how to put this on..

Is one of the 3 little pieces a key? It should look like a rectangle steel piece.

@@GoPowerSports yes there's a small little key thing that came with the two small screws. Just not too sure how to put this in been trying to figure it out myself or find some kinda tutorial. I wanna put the clutch on "backwards" because I run a straight chain. Thank you

Do.they make heavy duty 1 inch clutches with 1000 rpm stall speed. I am using it on a boat so that is why i need a low rpm stall speed.

Why would someone want to buy a more expensive $200 clutch over a max torque clutch? I am going to buy a new one tomorrow and I’m trying to figure out the difference between them
