@@pee4452 That's not true. Paraffin is absolutely toxic. It is a leftover organic compound (fossil fuel) that is released into the atmosphere. Paraffin candles are so cheap because they are the most toxic and unsafe. This isn't made up hype, it's science backed, and don't blame it on soy candle makers. Soy isn't exactly safe either because just like paraffin it produces soot and is just one step above paraffin.

Does this work or are they just trying to charge more for normal soy wax. I am wanting to avoid unnatural waxes such as parrifin so I am not sure which wax to choose. @@evamooney2953 No worries! Yes pillar waxes can contain soy, but they also normally contain other waxes to make them harder, like paraffin or stearic acid. I hope this helps! You can also find all natural fortified soy pillar blends, just try searching that term!

Hii,I've been trying to make a female body candle using soy wax ,during the first two attempts the candle formed a huge crack from the top to the bottom,and during the third attempt I tried making it without any pigment ,and the candle did not set at all,it looked completely grainy and cloudy the top started coming up ,I have made paraffin candles in the same mould which come out properly but have white spots on them .I would appreciate if someone has any tips regarding how to avoid this or any reason as to why this is happening.
