What about a forged clutch fork? I have a 2015 Subaru WRX limited with 300whp/tq .. just recently had a new clutch put in - a Clutchmasters stage 1 pressure plate/disc, an Exedy OEM Subaru BRZ/WRX flywheel (a bit lighter than stock), Verus forged clutch fork/billet fork pivot, PDM snout repair/sleeve kit .. love the way it feels now .. I already have polyurethane shifter bushings and a weighted shift knob and also added a kartboy shifter linkage reduction (40% shorter throws) .. the car reacts much more quickly now

@@stangsO9Spec brand Stage 2+ clutch. Mechanic i felt comfy with did it. 67 miles in, does well. Like a 3in engagement area on the whole pedal stroke. It's in a great area im usually just nervious & trying to baby & end up doing more than good. My previous owners basically closed coursed my car lol so their alleged stage 2 clutch blew after me 'learning' for 2k miles. Uhm yeah spec been cool & dec. I bought an upgraded fork clutch that was not needed. Was too heavy for the retainer spring mechanic said. So i got stock fork with new alum flywheel, clutch, press plate, throwout bearing. My tans nose had damage in the past from a hella worn out TOB. (BEARING GOUGES & FKS WEAR SURPHACE). so a machinist make a sleeve you can slip over but then it is a few mm smaller inside diameter bearing than OEM. That happened in my vehicle & i had no clue that other owners fkd it like that (not a huge deal_ sleeve is avaible & the bearing was on hand in MT even) like 33mm vs 37. Uhm yeah so im breaking the clutch in & im stoked. Read much of 500mile break in & such. Yet realized today-- i has to be the amohnt of shifts- to get a good seatinf surohace to flywheel vs friction plate. As a person can travel 500 miles in 14 shifts. But if you get 3,000 'perfect' shifts in 300 miles think that the ideal- for example. Let u know. Thanks for wondering.

Basic stuff. Very disappointing that they didn't even touch on the importance of using up all the increased friction surface area that an aftermarket flywheel will provide. Most of the time an aftermarket flywheel will have a bigger contact area than your factory clutch disc, therefore simply by stepping up disc and pressure plate diameter you instantly increase the holding power using the same organic material.
