I like Donic Blades! But prefer light weights of (75-80 grms) range. Less strain on your wrist during practice and actual tournament! It's stupid to say that heavier blades create power.

Why does a blade get slower over the years? Moisture absorbtion? Degredation of wood?

The bounce will be lesser since the blade is being used for a long time

This is not an explanation. So why the bounce will be lesser? What exactly happens in the blade to make it slower? I don't believe this statement until it is proven or explained

Well, word brittle does not apply to wood. Wood cannot become brittle like clay, no matter how long you play.
