Thank you for another beautiful and valuable message from God’s word. On a side note: English is not my wife’s first language, but your clear pronunciation and the speed made this lesson much more understandable. I am certain the Holy Spirit will fill in the areas that were not completely understood. We will follow up with reading from our limited Japanese translations. Shalom, from Tokyo..

Test everything. good exhortation. So let's do it in gentleness and humility and love. Circumcision of the flesh as required in the Law of Moses is addressed by Paul who knew the law more thoroughly than any one present hear. Paul the apostle of Jesus Christ, to the Gentiles, says to the GENTILE Christians in Galatia... "Behold, I, Paul, say to you WHO ARE CIRCUMCISED (in the flesh), Christ WILL PROFIT YOU NOTHING. And I testify again to every man being circumcised, that he is a debtor to do all the Law; you who are justified by Law are DEPRIVED of all effect from Christ - you FELL FROM GRACE. For we through the Spirit eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness OUT OF FAITH. For IN CHRIST NEITHER CIRCUMCISION NOR UNCIRCUMCISION HAS ANY STRENGTH, but faith working through love. You WERE running well: who held you back that you OBEY NOT THE TRUTH?" Galatians 5:2-7. (LITV) Paul got his teaching directly from the risen Lord Jesus. Here Jesus is telling us through Paul that for Gentile believers (brothers) to go and get circumcised in the flesh will disqualify them of benefiting from Jesus Christ - CHRIST SHALL PROFIT YOU NOTHING!! Nada. Zilch. Zero. For Gentile believers in Jesus Christ to go and get circumcised in the flesh in order to please God is to DIS - OBEY the truth which we have in Jesus Christ, and the faith and grace that comes through Him. Paul asks the Gentile believers - "O FOOLISH Galatians, Who bewitched you not to obey the truth....?" Galatians 3:1 If the teacher here is saying that Gentile believers in Jesus Christ must be circumcised, they are contradicting the words of Paul which he received from Jesus Christ. Also they are going against the decision given by the apostle James to the Gentile believers in Antioch concerning Jewish believers who were telling the Gentile believers in Antioch - "If you are not circumcised according to the custom of Moses, YOU CANNOT BE SAVED." Acts 15:2. All the apostles and elders were assembled to hear this matter - Acts 15. Read verse 19-20. Then James wrote a letter to be delivered by Paul and Barnabas to the congregation in Antioch - Acts 15:22-29. NOTE VERSE 28 - "For it seemed good to the HOLY SPIRIT and TO US to put no greater burden on you than these necessary things. To hold back from idol sacrifices, and blood (the eating and drinking of it), and (eating meat killed by strangling) and from fornication; from which continually keeping yourselves. you will do well. Be prospered." (15:28-29) The HOLY SPIRIT was the one who inspired the apostles to agree on this for the benefit of GENTILE believers in Jesus Christ. Circumcision of the FLESH IS NOT required by Jesus, or the Holy Spirit, or the Father. Please let us NOT be found to contradict the Word of God. Gentile believers who get circumcised - IN THE FLESH - will NOT benefit from the grace of God found in Jesus Christ..

Thanks, I am from England, Somerset, I came into Torah 6yrs ago, your video are blessing. Have you heard of Defending the Roots of Christianity, (Jake T.) as he is picking fault your videos. Listen to his videos, I can pick up fault in his teaching. I thought maybe you could take a look at what he saying and address what he saying. Maybe make a video about him. After leaving the church after 17yrs, I find some Christians over bearing in their attitude. YAH BLESS Karl.

I want to know which English Bible version in this video. I have NIV 1984.....
@js165210 ай бұрын
This is ESV. I know I'm replying much later, but saw the answer above. I believe it to be a very accurate version. I am currently studying the Geneva and Oxford 1779, and hoping to get as close as possible to the original text translations. I believe NIV likely meant well, but some verses were taken out, and I don't understand why. Verses referring to angels and the Trinity. So I've put that one to the side, and hope to find the most accurate. I believe most of the Bible is to be heard with the Holy Spirit vs with the words we see- to read between the lines and the Word will give our heart the daily Bread we need. So no matter what version, it's our faith, humility, hunger, love, grace- and basically our whole heart- that allows the Word to enter in and change is in whatever ways YHWH is chiseling and working in us. It's beautiful to learn the original texts and really dive in to the poetry you feel in old translations, but I know that our relationship with God and fully trusting Him and His purpose in us is how to open our hearts for Him to speak. Sorry for the book I wrote 😂 but I hope it encourages you!

How many renowned theologians share these beliefs? Would renowned mean widely accepted? Does widely accepted fit on the narrow path?
@NickyABBAdaughter22373 жыл бұрын
No,widely accepted does not fit on the narrow path,neither the widely accepted saturday Sabbath if you truly think about it.The Most High said that Sabbath would be lost to Israel(all)along with all appointed times. What is widely accepted is not set apart and what is not set apart does not fit on the narrow path. And The Most High is set apart(Holy). I pray that Our Heavenly Father shines His Glorious face upon you and your loved ones.🙏 Much love and blessings.💖 Shalom.🥰

Galatians 5, circumcision of the flesh is of no value, and even a detriment.
@fivebooks84983 жыл бұрын
I disagree. I don't think we can have a circumcised heart now. Sin is always present now. The scriptures you gave are about the end of the age. Jeremiah 31 has not happened yet because He said we will no longer teach others about Yahweh because we will all already know him. That definitely hasn't happened. We are commanded to circumcise the flesh on the 8th day. There will be 7000 years or 7 days that we don't have a circumcised heart. On the 8th day at His return he will circumcise our heart as we shed this flesh and put on incorruption.
