Such a simple, straight to the point video. I’m sure you’ve helped a lot of new griddlers out there. Griddle on!

Me too. Used it for the first time today. I made breakfast sandwiches (bacon, egg, cheese on English toasting bread), and then made Oklahoma Smash Burgers...and created burger addicts in the house. Glad to see what I was doing is recommended by someone with more experience!

Thanks Man - hey why not put the oil on when the griddle is still hot like we do when we first cure it? I always thought you did that under heat not when it cooled off. Thanks for taking the time - I am sure you’re correct - just wondering what the difference is.
@Hittingthegrease2 ай бұрын
@Robert-tr8iw I'm definitely not an expert...just showing what works for me. And the griddle should still be pretty hot when applying the last coat of oil. That's why I was using the tongs. When I turn off the griddle, I don't wait long before applying. Thanks for stopping by and giving support!!

Around what temperature is good to oil it again? When done cleaning
@Hittingthegrease17 күн бұрын
@DjJoeyPinaDJ you want it still hot!!! This process should happen within 2 min of killing propane....the idea is to have a smooth ultra light gloss on the the griddle...which helps for your next cook...I can't stress enough to not have too much oil...do not cake...it will cause problems
