This is a great discussion on cleaning and protecting all weather floor mats. Slick mats are to be avoided as you noted, and sometimes it can be the different materials used on the bottom of our shoes react with the protection product

Says you don't need alot and then proceeds to put 15 sprays of ceramic spray on the floor mat.

Great Video Joe! I have used CS3 on my WeatherTechs and it seems to keep them looking nice and easy to clean.

Guys, I thoroughly enjoy using a lot of your products but that mat protectant really ain't it. I tried it on two different types of mats both became slippery. Really disappointed.

The first mat’s I did, they were slippery too. I did them in the direct sunlight and I think if it dries on there like that when the sun is just baking them, that’s what makes them slippery. Try doing them in your garage when they’re cool and stick closer to the 3 minute mark. Spray on, use a lug and trim brush to even it out in the nooks and crannies, then let it sit 3 minutes, then wipe the access off. When I did it that way, I had much better results.

What graphene spray do you use?

Considering how small the bottles are for the price. I only buy mega foam by the gallon from Adam’s.

Only issue I see with using the Graphene Spray is having that many applicators around. Typically the applicators get tossed after one use.

I bought a bulk pack off Amazon for about a dollar a piece. I’ve tossed so many after use or dropping them.

Try using their towel and pad cleaner/reviltalizer, it really helps pull out stuff.

You can wash the applicators even after using the advanced spray coating. Use the towel and pad revitalizer and it’ll clean them right up. These guys have a pretty good video on cleaning your applicators and pads. Now if you’re doing the graphene ceramic coating or advanced that’s the more concentrated formula, then you should only use those applicators once.

Only time temu is handy is for cheap microfiber applicators

I’m surprised the Graphene Spray Coating is safe for the mats considering how much slickness it adds on paint. I’ll test on my rears.

Love your products and I use a ton of them, but the amount of products showcased here to simply keep your floor mats clean is complete overkill. I use 303 Protectant on my mats and clean them with a sponge, dish soap and warm water as soon as they get even a little dirty. After cleaning, let them dry and then spray 303 Protectant and wipe off. Done. Ceramic/graphene coating is not only overkill, it makes the mats slippery which is really not desirable. That coating is a waste of time as it will wear off fairly quickly especially on the driver's side.

isnt ceramic coating toxic and fumes? why would you want this inside your car
@timkinley17795 ай бұрын
An actual coating is resins. The thinner the coating (sprayable), the more diluted the resin. Unless certain biocides are used, there isn't enough of anything used in the makeup of the coating that is harmful enough to be concerned.

Wash your Matt's once a week ......done, don't get me wrong, I use chemical guys all the time for the interior, but some stuff you don't need.
